Three Sections: Major Tournament – Under 190, grading prize U165; Intermediate Tournament – Under 145, grading prize U120; Minor Tournament – Under 100, grading prize U80 & ungraded prize.

The largest congress in the North West. Five sections – Lancashire Open, The Imperial Major (U181), The Intermediate (U155), The Minor (U135) & The Standard (U115).

FIDE rated Open, Major & Knights sections. Two rounds on Friday & Sunday, one round on Saturday morning. A fun Busy Persons Blitz tournament is held on the Saturday afternoon and can be entered separately from the main congress.

A brand new event this year so please do make an effort to support it, The event is split into four sections held over six rounds. FIDE-rated Open, U165, U135, U105. There are three prizes in each section plus grading prizes. Importantly there is also FREE parking (register on arrival).

Five Sections - Open, U180, U160, U140 and U120. Free parking all weekend. A £2200 prize fund and ECF championship qualifying places in the Open for the NCCU Champion.

Once again to be held at Venue Cymru in Llandudno (as per the British Chess Championships 2017) – £1,625 guaranteed prize fund.
